I work with individuals, families, and children. I have a special interest in anxiety, trauma, and family systems issues.
Clinician in 14th year of practice. I work with adult individuals & couples with a variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, bi-polar and many others. Located conveniently on Hwy. 17 just over drawbridge from downtown/ with ample free parking. Generally my hours are 11am - 8pm but I work hard to accommodate individual schedules.

I work with adults, both individuals and couples, and specialize in the treatment of addiction, grief, relationship issues, separation and divorce, mood disorders, low self-esteem and stress. Additionally I have done considerable work in the area of women's specific issues. I also work closely with first responders and their families. I strive to provide a feeling of safety and trust within a therapeutic environment.
My practice specializes in helping adults, couples, and families to grow mentally, physically, and emotionally through increasing resilience, openness and wellness.I have extensive training in PTSD/Trauma recovery and am able to provide two different empirically supported PTSD treatments: Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). As a Star Behavioral Health provider I have experience working with both military and civilian populations.
As a psychodynamic psychotherapist, I offer children, families, and adults a safe and accepting environment to explore and gain a better understanding of the issues most affecting their lives. Rather than solely focusing on behaviors or symptoms, I work with individuals and families on gaining insight and understanding into the various underlying causes of their thoughts, feelings, and actions. It is only then that meaningful and long-lasting change is possible.

As an art therapist I integrate the fields of human development and visual art with models of counseling and psychotherapy to provide art therapy services to clients of all ages and abilities. I use a collaborative, strengths-based approach that draws from a variety of therapeutic modalities to meet each individuals need.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Addictions Counselor, and Registered Yoga Teacher. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Theater, Speech, and Dance, and my Masters in Social Work; both from The University of South Carolina. My counseling work is further informed by my experience as a professional ballet dancer, father, and person in long- term recovery.
