Greetings and thank you for stopping to read my profile. My name is Ronnie McCarrell. I am born and raised in Greenville, SC. I hold an undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology; and a masters degree in Counseling. I started my counseling career in 1995 after my duty to serve in the Air Force. I specialize in working with juveniles with sexual behavioral problems (legally referred to as juvenile sex offenders), who are court ordered for my services. Note-I do not provide therapy services to adult sex offenders. I am a long standing member of the National Association of Perpetrator Network (NAPN) and am certified as a trainer for this population. I have provided therapy for juvenile and adult drug court programs in Greenville County. Outside of the juveniles with sexual behavioral problems, I also work with the general public on various issues: anxiety, depression, ADHD, anger, grief/loss, trauma, stress and substance related issues (for those not in active use). I accept BCBS, Aetna, Cigna and all Medicaid plans. I believe in the change people can make and I enjoy seeing clients making a 'choice to change'.
