As a psychodynamic psychotherapist, I offer children, families, and adults a safe and accepting environment to explore and gain a better understanding of the issues most affecting their lives. Rather than solely focusing on behaviors or symptoms, I work with individuals and families on gaining insight and understanding into the various underlying causes of their thoughts, feelings, and actions. It is only then that meaningful and long-lasting change is possible.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Addictions Counselor, and Registered Yoga Teacher. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Theater, Speech, and Dance, and my Masters in Social Work; both from The University of South Carolina. My counseling work is further informed by my experience as a professional ballet dancer, father, and person in long- term recovery.
I have been working with individuals and families who suffer with Eating Disorders for 30 years.
