As an art therapist I integrate the fields of human development and visual art with models of counseling and psychotherapy to provide art therapy services to clients of all ages and abilities. I work with a wide variety of clients to facilitate meaningful change. I specialize in Cognitive Processing Therapy and Prolonged Exposure Therapy to treat trauma and PTSD, systemic interventions for family conflict, behavioral challenges both with young children and teens, and group therapy.
I am advanced practice nurse who specializes in adult psychotherapy. I am certified by medicare and take primarily medicare patients, but I will work on a sliding scale.I treat all dx that would affect adults such as grief, anxiety, depression and marital issues or family issues.
